Fish Custard and The Cumberbeast

My mum sent me the hotel booking confirmation for Asylum 8 yesterday for me bday and having just checked it, they’ve overcharged her by £222.40!!

She went via the Rogue Events website to book the room but the room rate had got the wrong reference on it.

I called the hotel but because the room is non-refundable, non-changeable and we can’t cancel it and they refuse to do anything about it. 

I’m sorry, but WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK?! It was a computer error and they’re refusing to sort it.  The entire booking cost £366.40.  I could have gone somewhere hot and sunny for a week for that.  Or even got a return flight to New York.  Not 2 nights in a hotel in fucking Birmingham!  It should be costing £144.40 total.

I’ve told my mum to call the hotel and demand to speak to a manager.  If that doesn’t work, i’ve told her to call her credit card company to see if they can sort it.  I’ll also email Rogue and see if they can suggest anything.
